CHICAGO — Nearly 36 hours after being traded from the Florida Panthers to the Chicago Blackhawks, goalie Spencer Knight was still analyzing everything.

CHICAGO -- Spencer Knight is beginning a new chapter that he admitted he didn't know was coming. The goalie made his debut Chicago Blackhawks debut against the Los Angeles Kings at United Center on Monday, two days after being acquired in the trade that sent defenseman Seth Jones to the Florida Panthers.

It's unclear if Mathew Barzal will be able to return before the end of the regular season. The 27-year-old forward has been out with a lower-body injury sustained after blocking a shot late in the third period of a 3-2 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 1. He had a minor procedure Feb. 6 and is out indefinitely.
