He also lined up next to Brett Berard and Jonny Brodzinski in his Blueshirts debut before skating next to Jimmy Vesey and Sam Carrick in the following contest.
Before joining the New York Rangers, Arthur Kaliyev had not played in an NHL game since April of 2023. During training camp with the Los Angeles Kings before the start of this season, Kaliyev suffered a fractured clavicle, which sidelined him for multiple weeks.

NEW YORK -- Igor Shesterkin made 20 saves for his second straight shutout and the New York Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-0 at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. Shesterkin extended his shutout streak to 164:03, the second longest of his career behind the 166:30 he had last season from March 4-14.
