Baltimore City Board of Elections Director Armstead Jones will retire after nearly 18 years in the role, the Maryland State Board of Elections announced Friday. According to an MSBE news release, Jones’ retirement is effective May 1. He has served as Baltimore’s top elections official since August 2007.
