CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Following a chilly Saturday, milder air is in store for the second half of the weekend courtesy of a west to southwest breeze. After starting in the low to mid 30s this morning, Sunday afternoon sees high temperatures climb to the low to mid 50s under plenty of sunshine. The wind will be between 10 and 15 mph.

Sunday will be mostly sunny again and much milder as high temperatures approach the 50-degree mark. Continued dry and warmer weather is in store for the work week ahead. The warmest days will be Tuesday and Friday as high temperatures climb to the mid 60s, courtesy of gusty winds from the southwest.
The current forecast shows a stretch of dry weather which will last four to five days. If you think that sounds like a long time compared to the past few months, you’d be right.
Over the last decade, as Ohio State University and (especially) the University of Cincinnati grew their student bodies, they’ve increasingly pulled students from Greater Cleveland, squeezing enrollment at schools such as the University of Akron, Kent State, Cleveland State and Youngstown State.
