Feb. 15—Hazleton Area is considered one of the best girls basketball teams in the state. So is Scranton Prep. A regular-season matchup never happened. Nor will it happen in the District 2 playoffs.

It might take a Herculean effort to knocked Hazleton Area from its perch. The WVC Division 1 champion Cougars are the only unbeaten team in either girls or boys basketball in District 2.
