Alan Shearer and Arsenal have differing opinions on RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who has been heavily linked with transfers to both Manchester United and Newcastle

Manchester United are lining up their first offer for Benjamin Sesko after Newcastle started what RB Leipzig hope will become a “bidding war” for the striker. Newcastle have tabled an offer worth £69.8million including add-ons and United are said to be ready to match that bid after fresh talks with Leipzig over the weekend.

Manchester United are reported to have identified Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior as an alternative to RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko. Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim has already signed two key attackers this summer, with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo adding significantly to his squad.
