Nix finished 25 of 42, and his 18-yard touchdown pass to Sutton in the third quarter broke the club rookie record of 14 set by Marlin Briscoe in 1968. Nix and Sutton later hooked up for a 2-yard TD with 5:30 left to give the Broncos a two-possession lead.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was very successful over a five-year college career. Now he's carried that into a successful rookie season with Denver.

Nix became the first Broncos player to ever win the award three times in a row, according to the organization. He surpassed the previous mark, set by Tim Tebow with two consecutive wins, and is sitting at second place in total Rookie of the Week awards behind Knowshon Moreno who won the award a total of four times in 2009.
