The Park Range of northern Colorado’s Rocky Mountains could see more than 2 feet of snow accumulate by 5 a.m. Tuesday, forecasters said.

Another Arctic blast and several rounds of snow are expected in Denver early next week. Moderate to heavy mountain snow begins Sunday afternoon.  Both the high country and Eastern Plain will warm to the 30s and 40s by early Sunday afternoon.

Colder temperatures and snow chances are moving into Denver’s weather. In the mountains, a combination of winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings are in effect through early Tuesday morning as heavy snow could make mountain travel very difficult.
