As expected, quarterback Geno Smith’s on-field return in Seattle was over quick. In Thursday’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks, Smith completed one of three passes for 15 yards before calling it a night.

Smith and Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby were seen making obscene gestures toward Seahawks fans as they entered the field Thursday night for their preseason game. The gestures — giving the fans the double bird — were similar to what Lions safety Brian Branch was fined for last November in a game against the Packers.

Raiders quarterback Geno Smith played five seasons in Seattle, three as the Seahawks starter, before the team traded him to Las Vegas.
