Toia (6-2, 342 pounds) was the second defensive lineman selected by Dallas in the 2025 draft. The first was Boston College pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku. Toia fits the mold as a run-stuffing defensive tackle. He finished his 2024 season with 25 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack.

With the No. 205 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the Washington Commanders selected UCLA linebacker Kain Medrano. Medrano is a 6-foot-3, 222-pound prospect who appeared in 50 games for the Bruins over his college career. He started the past two seasons, earning Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 honors in 2023 and Third-team All-Big Ten in 2024.
