The Minnesota Golden Gophers women's basketball team moved to 10-0 on the season as they easily handled North Florida 90-44 at Williams Arena on Tuesday night. The Gophers defense shined again, allowing the Ospreys to shoot just 19% from beyond the arc (4-for-21).

The Gophers have been doing it the past five games without one of their best players, junior guard Mara Braun, who injured her surgically repaired right foot during a shootaround. That foot forced her to miss the last three games of Minnesota’s WNIT run to the championship game last spring.

There was a lot to like in the Gophers women’s basketball team’s latest nonconference rout. Their 90-44 victory over North Florida on Tuesday night at Williams Arena was the team’s biggest in its 10-0 start to the season.
