Wrexham have signed former England international defender Conor Coady from Leicester City, the club announced on Friday.

Wrexham's final pre-season friendly ended in a 3-1 defeat against Dutch side Groningen, following on from an earlier 1-0 loss against the same club behind closed doors.

Mail Sport reported that the centre back, who has extensive experience in the Premier League , was a target for Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
