A Montgomery-based Civil Rights Era newspaper has received a historical marker honoring its coverage of historical events.

The Montgomery City Council held a special meeting about the deteriorating conditions in the Old City Jail. Montgomery Public Schools is welcoming two familiar faces to its Communications Department.
