Jett Niu fully expected to sign with Oklahoma State on Wednesday, until a late push by OU convinced the Utah product to instead sign with the Sooners.

Oklahoma has signed 17 prospects during the early signing period, which began Wednesday. The Sooners signed three-star quarterback Jett Niu, who had been committed to Oklahoma State since Sept. Four-star wide receiver Cortez Mills, who had been committed to OU since July, flipped to sign with Nebraska.

The Oklahoma Sooners added one of the fastest-rising safeties in the 2025 recruiting class as four-star safety Omarion Robinson signed with OU during the early signing period.
