Cyclone Fengal has caused severe flooding in Tamil Nadu, with parked buses being swept away in Uthangarai due to the overflowing Parasaneri Lake.

The devastating Cyclone Fengal has led to crops raised on over 1.29 lakh hectares of agricultural land in the districts of Villupuram, Kallakurichi and Tiruvannamalai in north Tamil Nadu inundated, according to preliminary assessment by the State Government.

A second landslide has hit the temple town of Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, where an earlier landslide led to a boulder falling on a residential building and trapping a family of seven.
