Heavy rainfall is likely in isolated places of Thanjavur, Sivagangai, Pudukkottai, and Tiruchirappalli districts of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

A well-marked low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal triggers IMD alerts for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, with heavy to very heavy rainfall expected across multiple districts in the coming days.
