WWE got the result right in the main event of WrestleMania 41 by having a heel John Cena beat Cody Rhodes for the promotion's top title. Unfortunately, everything else around the match was historically bad. And frankly? Point the finger right at The Rock.

That set the stage for what was supposed to be a historic match. John Cena, in his final WrestleMania, aiming to break Ric Flair's World Championship record with a 17th reign if he could defeat Cody Rhodes.

Night 1 opened with Jey Uso winning the World Heavyweight Championship by making the seemingly unbeatable Gunther tap out, and it ended with Paul Heyman turning on CM Punk and Roman Reigns in a betrayal that is going to be talked about for some time.

On Sunday, Becky Lynch's surprise return happened at WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2. The crowd roared approvingly as Lynch aligned with her fellow Irish superstar Lyra Valkyria. Women's intercontinental champion Valkyria and Bayley recently won a tag team gauntlet to challenge for the WWE women's tag team championships.
