Mystic Aquarium’s animal rescue has been getting a lot of attention lately for the good work they do, particularly in the days since Chappy the seal passed away.

The seal named Chappy, which had been found flat on its stomach on a cold, snow-encrusted street in New Haven, Conn., had an intestinal disease, a necropsy showed.

Mystic Aquarium helped create the Species Survival Plan for African penguins. "Some of our mating pairs have been together for 30 years."
