Naomi Osaka and Madison Keys knocked out of Wimbledon - Seeded trio Amanda Anisimova, Linda Noskova and Elise Mertens progressed on day five.

Naomi Osaka was so emotional after losing in the Wimbledon third round that she was unable to answer a question about motherhood. Osaka was a set up and in control against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova but she let what would have been a first fourth-round appearance slip through her fingers in a 6-3 4-6 4-6 defeat.

Six of Osaka's last seven defeats have been in three sets, with the four-time Grand Slam champion closer than ever to a return to form.
