The devastating firestorm that rained embers and terror across Los Angeles County has officially come to an end, with fire crews reaching 100% containment on the Palisades and Eaton fires Friday evening.

The Palisades and Eaton wildfires — which devastated neighborhoods across Los Angeles County, including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Pasadena and Altadena — have officially been contained.

Jan. 22, 10:30 a.m. PST Cal Fire data marked the Palisades Fire at 68% containment and the Eaton Fire at 91% containment, listing no other active fires in Los Angeles as a red flag warning is in effect for much the region until Friday evening.
