There were some early signs that the Edmonton Oilers many predicted to be among the Stanley Cup favourites were back in business on Saturday night, even if they had to hang on for dear life to record their second straight win.

After an overtime win over Montreal on Thursday, the Edmonton Oilers were back in action on Saturday at Rogers Place against the visiting Dallas Stars.

Though Walman, Hyman, and McDavid were the Oilers' standouts, they were far from their only key players on Saturday. Connor Brown scored the eventual game winner, his first in nine games, while Stuart Skinner robbed Rantanen of his first goal as a Star with one of the best saves of his career early in the third period.
