Canadian wildfire smoke has affected Wisconsin all week, prompting multiple air quality alert extensions from the DNR.

The wildfire smoke is expected to continue to decrease across Wisconsin on Wednesday, and further extensions of the advisory are not expected at this time.

MADISON (WKOW) — Poor air quality will continue to be an issue in Wisconsin through Tuesday. An air quality advisory will continue through noon on Tuesday (Aug. 5) due to Canadian wildfire smoke, according to the state Department of Natural Resources.
