Police were called about people fighting Sunday night in a parking lot in the 4100 block of Portsmouth Boulevard. That's near the Chesapeake Square Mall.

At 9:17 p.m. Sunday, officers received a report of people fighting in the parking lot of a business in the 4100 block of Portsmouth Boulevard, according to Master Police Officer Michael Hilton of the department’s Public Information Office. They also got calls that someone was shooting a gun, Hilton said.
