Disney’s Hulu acquisition is complete, setting the stage for global expansion, stronger bundles and a new era of streaming strategy.

Disney has multiple options for Hulu now that it owns Hulu outright. It’s a done deal. After years of negotiations, evaluations from arbitrators, and a few public shots across each other’s bows, Disney has finally completed its buyout of Comcast’s 33% stake in Hulu.

Disney said it had agreed to add $439 million to what it had already paid for the streaming service. Comcast had wanted $5 billion more.
