Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta spent 30 minutes Wednesday standing on the grass at Coors Field chatting it up with a Colorado Rockies reliever. It's the same reliever with whom he went for coffee hours earlier and dined with the night before.

The Brewers opened a six-game western swing in style, as Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras all homered in the seventh inning.

Freddy Peralta continued his dominance of the Rockies at Coors Field, earning a 7-1 win in the series opener Tuesday.
