Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart is taking home an honor given to the top college football player in the state of Mississippi each season.

Ole Miss football quarterback Jaxson Dart has won the C Spire Conerly Trophy. He is the fourth Rebel to win the award in five years.

For the fourth time in the last five years Ole Miss is home to the top college football player in Mississippi. On Tuesday Jaxson Dart was named the 2024 winner of the Conerly Trophy, which is presented to that season’s best player in the state.

Dart returned to Ole Miss in 2024 with hopes of leading the Rebels to the College Football Playoff. Those hopes have lessened after losses to Kentucky, LSU and Florida this season, but even if Ole Miss isn't able to backdoor its way into the playoff, Dart's time in Oxford should be remembered for how much he accomplished in the Rebels program.

Ole Miss football quarterback Jaxson Dart led the Rebels to a 26-14 win over Mississippi State on Friday in the Egg Bowl. Dart's final stats were 14-of-24 for 143 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions and he was sacked twice. He had 13 rushes for 77 yards.
