Nick Gonzales was back in the Pittsburgh Pirates starting lineup on Tuesday night for the first time since breaking his left ankle while hitting a home run on opening day in Miami on March 27. The second baseman was activated from the 60-day injured list before the opener of a three-game series with the visiting Houston Astros.

After fighting their way back all night long, the Pittsburgh Pirates walked off the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 on Nick Gonzales’ sacrifice fly to left in the bottom of the ninth inning on Friday night.
