There’s been a lot of buzz over No Other Land following its 2025 Oscars win for Best Documentary Feature Film. It has also earned a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which you don’t see every day. The documentary has garnered attention and accolades for its depiction of the destruction of the occupied West Bank’s Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers.

It is the rare Oscar winner that has yet to be picked up by a distributor. The screening is presented by Cinema Detroit, which has been working as a pop-up since closing its Midtown location in 2023.

Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel announced it opposes the film on "anti-normalization" grounds.
