Clouds increase across parts of North Texas Tuesday, leading to partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies. The southeast surface flow will increase the moisture content throughout the day, and then by late Tuesday, showers and storms will develop. Several First Alert Weather Days are in place for multiple rounds of rain and storms in the forecast.

Storms look to roll back in overnight and into Friday morning for North Texas. We'll be looking at scattered showers and thunderstorm activity on-and-off throughout the day.

The threat of severe weather on Saturday is increasing by the day, and now the Storm Prediction Center has some portions of Southeast Texas under an "Enhanced Risk" for it.

An updated report was issued from the NWS Fort Worth TX on Thursday at 7:29 a.m. for strong thunderstorms until 8:15 a.m. The alert is for Wise, Montague and Jack counties.

Some parts of DFW saw quite a bit of hail this morning. FOX 4's Payton May is in Tarrant County with weather updates.

Several rounds of rain could very well bring a flood concern. DFW and surrounding areas could pick up over 2-3 inches of rain. Storms are still likely into Saturday early afternoon but the severe threat will be lower. We look dry by the end of the weekend.
