A Connecticut Lottery player won the second largest prize of Saturday's Powerball drawing and might not know it yet. Thirteen people in New Jersey won $10,000 or more last week playing New Jersey Lottery games and the Powerball.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday that it recently awarded a prize worth $150,000 on a Powerball with Power Play ticket to a player from Berks County who bought the ticket online for the June 14 drawing.
The six-figure winning Powerball game was sold at the Power Trac gas station/convenience store at 3301 S.C. 88 in Central, officials said. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number, a feat that has odds of 1-in-913,129 of occurring, officials said.
