Another storm may be set to hit the East Coast, even as much of the U.S. is still reeling from last weekend's weather.
Winter storm warning ends at 10 a.m., but hundreds of schools remain closed and government buildings are shut.
Wednesday afternoon's advisory from the weather service called for continued arctic cold for the region and the potential for at least three inches of snow Sunday into Sunday night, much of it across the twin forks of Long Island. It said the storm could also bring winds at least 45 mph winds.
Montgomery saw tree damage, downed lines and power outages as cold weather storms and wind gusts struck the area Sunday.
