Fires have threatened parts of Turkey for weeks, with Greece and Bulgaria also battling blazes amid high temperatures.

Homes have been destroyed and people are being evacuated near the Greek capital Athens as hundreds of firefighters battle wildfires burning just a few miles from the city.
