The conclusion to an 11-year story (arguably 16-year, because TIH was kind of a sequel to Ang Lee’s Hulk) is reduced to “18 months in the gamma lab”.

Mar 26, 2021 · Professor Hulk in the MCU should have been that, but instead it was just Banner in Hulk's body. That's not combining the two/the two coming to terms with each other, that's Banner doing a hostile takeover of Hulk, which is pretty much exactly what Hulk did to Banner on Sakaar.

Jun 10, 2019 · That would have worked well. Professor hulk snaps everyone back into existence. Then thanos shows up and hulk takes back control to fight him. Thanos vs Hulk part 2 takes place. Now there's no one that could safely use the gauntlet so tony sacrifices himself to stop thanos' army. Would have made iron man's death a bit more tragic and impactful.

What bothered me the most is that it seems that the actual character of Hulk is now destroyed, utterly replaced by Banner’s consciousness.

And then like the penultimate episode sees her all wounded and down in the dumps (as most of these shows do) and he guides her.
