Hay-making in the Yorkshire Dales! 🌾 In July (weather permitting), our flower-rich hay meadows go to seed - ready to be cut and made into hay. This is a vital process for farmers, providing winter feed for livestock. The grass is then ‘dashed’, ‘tedded’ or ‘scaled’- depending on where you’re from! 🤔 What do you call it where you are?
