Turnip Green Soup is our go-to New Year's food. It hits all the traditional southern staples: greens, pork, black-eyed peas & we serve it with a big piece of cornbread. It's delicious, super simple and great to make ahead. Here's the recipe: 2 Tbsp avocado (or olive) oil 1 sweet onion, chopped 1 16oz package hickory smoked conecuh sausage 3-4 cloves garlic, minced 2- 27oz cans Glory turnips greens 2- 14.5 oz cans of black-eyed peas 1- 14.5 oz can great northern beans 4-5 cups chicken broth #turn
