DIY Herbal Hair Detangler 🌿 If you’re struggling with knots and breakage, this is the simplest botanical fix. Marshmallow Root is nature’s alternative to synthetic silicone. The “Why”: It contains a high concentration of mucilage, which is a slippery, gel-like substance. When infused and reduced, this mucilage coats the hair shaft, providing a physical “slip” that lets knots glide apart effortlessly. No chemicals, just plant chemistry. How to make: 1. Infuse: Soak the root in water for 4–6 hour
