The American Lamancha, or LaMancha, is a medium-sized dairy goat breed known for its distinctive short ears and steady milk production. Developed in California in the 1920s by Eula Fay Frey, the breed is thought to descend from goats brought to the area by Spanish missionaries. LaManchas have straight faces, fine, glossy hair, and come in any color or combination. At Harmony Lane Farm & Creamery we have five different breeds, this is one of them.
