Oconaluftee Indian Village, located in Cherokee, North Carolina, is an open air living history museum. Located on the Qualla Boundary, which is the sovereign land of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, the Village shares the history of the Cherokee people who originally inhabited these mountains.
